Boring weekend.. discovered a great artist though!

The weekend is just boring as hell, but finally got my internet back! was internet-less for the past 4 days, I felt kinda dead, didn't read Allkpop for days, and then suddenly I read this article about G-Dragon smoking marijuana.. man hope it's not serious like he's addicted to it and it was just a one time thing, GD I want you to stay healthy! :(

anyway I discovered this cool chinese artist called SingerSen, she has a very unique voice, her music has a mysterious kind of feeling, reminds me of Bjork~ she just made her debut with her first mini album called 塞壬 (Sirens) the genre of the EP is kinda rock, pop, electro and has a style of gothic darkwave

I find the cover exceptionally beautiful and fits the concept, my favorite tracks were Drunk and Sirens, the rest of the tracks had a funny creepy Halloween feeling to them, what I like about CPop is that it's very diverse and most artists produce albums really well, it's very rare to see a CPop artist releasing a single, maybe because the Chinese and Taiwanese music markets depend more on album sales unlike the Japanese market where artists usually are competitive when it comes to single sales.

A visual kei band doing KPop?

So today I was listening to random songs on my ipod, and then Golden Bomber's Memeshikute started playing, Golden Bomber is a visual kei band I just got into, they have nice music, and I'm a fan of jrock so I was enjoying their songs, before I know it, I became a fan! xD

I got hooked to their latest single Memeshikute, it has a really nice upbeat sound, it's really catchy and very rock-ish, different from what other JRock bands release, so I was looking for their PV in youtube and I found a   KPop version of Memeshikute, I was like what?! :o I started watching it and then I thought "Whoa, these guys are so funny!" the KPop version is a parody of KPop girl groups, dressing up like them, wearing wigs to match the hairstyles, having the overall look of KPop girl groups and dancing very similarly to KARA's Go Go Summer and SNSD's Gee, and if I'm not mistaken I found a part where they danced very similarly to Oh! by SNSD, somebody mentioned that in the comments, so I dunno maybe they did, anyway check it out:

I realized that Golden Bomber are fond of KPop, they included a Korean version of their title song Memeshikute in the single, and to tell you the truth, it isn't bad~ the pronunciation is kinda funny but I did understand some words..

Golden Bomber are the first visual kei band to actually sing a song in Korean, HAH! take that KPop haters! it's funny how most of the comments on the video above are on how Golden Bomber were making fun of KPop because KPop is stupid and stuff, but actually you guys are dumb because if Golden Bomber really 'hated' KPop then they wouldn't sing a song in Korean, of course the PV was a funny parody, and many people do parodies even if they liked the artists they were parodying, so yeah.. it's funny lol, keep your own opinion to yourself, don't drag your favorite artists along with your opinion.

anyway, I recommend giving their original title song 'Memeshikute' a listen, they're performing on one of Japan's top music programs Music Station, the dance is awesome and very random xD , it's really fun~ :D I wish I was there with the audience~

I also LOVE Arashi! they're my main biases in JPop, I like NEWS too~ I also listen to JRock, I'm a big fan of GACKT and T.M.Revolution♥, I also listen to Ayabie, SID, SuG, THE KIDDIE, An Cafe..etc

I love listening to CPop, I'm a big fan of S.H.E, they're my main biases in CPop, I love Top Combine and Fahrenheit too, I listen to Jay Chou, Jane Zhang, Rainie Yang, G.E.M, Twins, Wei Chen, Vanness Wu..etc

I like watching dramas, movies, and anime, I love reading mangas and books, I'm a a yaoi fangirl, which means, you'll find some BL related stuff in this blog, I warn you xD

I like gyaru fashion, well I like fashion in general, but I really like Japanese fashion the most, the way they dress and the way they express themselves through what they wear is amazing, I read many gyaru magazines like Popteen, EGG, Ranzuki..etc and my favorite models are Tsubasa Masuwaka, Akina Minami and Kumiko Funayama
